Field Threat Database

The Field Threat Database provides the Game Engineer with the statistics and descriptions of the various beasts roaming the world in which the Science Fiction Space Opera gaming world of Evolution Earth takes place. It provides the kind of attacks and damage the creatures inflict, their Life Force Levels which determine the effectiveness of their attacks as well as the number of Life Force Points they have before they are killed. Zaerik are Sectid society (The Ma’a Zaer) that seek to dominate the planet. They are strident in their goal. They exist in underground layers they dig out with their grinding teeth and heavy stomach acids. They collect Ancestor technology as trophies, seeing their possession as a step towards planetary domination though they cannot manipulate most of it (though they can press buttons with their pointy legs and prehensile tails.

They have a toxic tail sting (make resistance roll against toxin or die), 3 times per day they can spray a jet of acid which causes their life force points in damage or make a resistance roll against acid for 1/2 damage. It sprays out to a maximum range of 6 meters with a 2 meter oval terminus.

They also have a noxious stench which radiates in a 10 meter radius around the Zaerik. Opponents seeking to engage in close combat must make a successful resistance roll against Toxins or have their Prowess reduced by 1/2 as long as they are within the stench radius and 1-10 cycles after exiting the radius.
