Citizens of Forta Collin are disappearing at an alarming rate. What is happening to them?

Magistrar Arcturius Clesto has a huge problem, his townfolk, especially the children, are disappearing without a trace at an alarming rate. To make matters worse the ones taken are primarily from within the much needed communities of farmers and fisherfolk within the reclaimed croplands and coastal waters surrounding the city. All work has ceased as the farmers and fisherfolk have sought refuge within the city walls from the mysterious threat.

Also if Arcturius can’t provide Nefer Thul, the Agrilord of Murdo, with his quota of food crops there will be hell to pay, mainly in the form of his being thrust into the Mines of Magda as a beast of burden.

Magistrar Clesto has summoned a party of adventurers to investigate where the captured residents are going, to attempt a rescue and, if possible, stop the menace to his people. He suspects the rival Treekin of the Forbidden Forest, a menacing arboreal area under the control of the dreaded Treekin who seek to eradicate all non-plant life from the planet and who are at odds with the farmers of Forta Collin over arable land.
